Hi, I'm David Dhillon, and I'm running for Secretary of the California Republican Party.
I've been a high school teacher, Director of Catholic Charities to the diocese of San Diego, El Centro Councilman and Mayor, and Appointee to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I'm also the founder of the non-profit 'American Patriotic Movement,' promoting patriotism through education, and the PAC 'American Patriotic Coalition,' supporting Republican candidates for federal, state, and local offices.
In addition to the duties of the Secretary, I have two priorities:
1. To dramatically expand our Voter Registration program statewide.
2. To hold state and county election officials accountable for ensuring voter integrity.
I truly believe that we can implement an effective strategy statewide to flip California RED! I need your support on my campaign for CRP Secretary.
In 1980, I voted for the first time, for Ronald Reagan. Since then, I've seen how the political landscape has changed in America, particularly how voter turnout has changed across California.
In recent years, the Republican Party has shown worrying decreases in voter registration and voter turnout. It's time to turn this trend around, and get back to not only registering new Republican voters, but also ensuring we give voters a reason to be excited about their civic duty, and getting out to vote.
This is what I promise to do as Secretary of the California Republican Party, so our party can become competitive again, and win more elections.
From multiple ballots, and duplicate registrations, to illegal aliens and dead people voting, sometimes TWICE, California has had serious voter integrity problems for over a decade!
Now, California voters have scored a huge win for election integrity when it comes to cleaning up our voter rolls in Los Angeles County! Every. Legal. Vote. Matters.
As CRP Secretary, I will lead the charge in keeping the pressure on the California Secretary of State, and County Registrar's Offices to ensure that every county follows through on clearing up their voter rolls of all the dead, non-citizen, duplicate, and otherwise ineligible voter registrations choking up our voter rolls.

Civic disengagement, voter disenfranchisement, and the mass exodus of Republican families to other states, have resulted in dwindling rates of Republican voter registration each election cycle. The CRP must do better.
Once we earn these voters, it's important that we keep them, and that involves regular engagement, not just through fundraising emails, but with syndicating relevant information useful to voters.
This includes expanding phone banking and text messaging efforts year round, and having a presence at as many civic events as possible, from naturalization ceremonies to rallies and parades.
For over a decade, the California Republican Party has largely abdicated its duty to consistently and aggressively pursue new Republican voter registration.
Now, we are the "third party," coming in after Democrats and Independents, at ~28% Republican Registration.
The 2020 lockdowns came with its own challenges, but that can no longer be used to explain low voter registration.
It's time for the California Republican Party to facilitate active voter registration drives in every county, multiple times per year, as opposed to passively hoping new voters will organically register to vote.
We cannot simply reach out to voters only when there's an election imminent. We must keep voters engaged year round.
This involves conservative activism, hosting cultural arts and music events, and facilitating community activities like job fairs, food drives and volunteer days.
These community events create opportunities for elected officials to engage with constituents and show the human side of Republican politics.
Now is our opportunity to counter any disparaging liberal narrative about Republicans and what we believe in, sharing policies Californians support.
If you ask your friends and neighbors who their Congressperson is, or State Assemblyman or State Senator, you'll likely be met with glazed eyes. An alarming number of California voters don't know who their elected officials are.
Worse yet, many aren't aware of the sometimes detrimental pieces of legislation that these Representatives vote for, which often have lasting negative effects on our quality of life, individual rights, education of children, and ability to do business in California.
I'll use my position as CRP Secretary to facilitate the creation of voter education video content that can easily be shared.
Registering voters is only one part of the equation. Now it's time to follow up with voters, and ensure that they fulfill their civic duty of going to the polls and voting.
In the June 7, 2022 Primary Election, some California counties had as low as 17% voter turnout. 35% in the General.
When you consider how California's 'Top Two Jungle Primary' works, it sometimes results in having two Democrats making it to the general election.
Imagine how the voting landscape would change if we had 100% Republican voter turnout. We cannot continue to surrender swing districts due to low voter turnout.
We need secure elections, to faithfully represent the needs of Californians. California has serious ongoing issues when it comes to securing the chain of custody of mail-in ballots.
These glaring election issues are routinely exploited by Democrats to the detriment of Republican candidates and voters.
Time for the California Republican Party to hold election officials accountable for keeping our election processes secure.
This includes finally cleaning up the voter rolls, eliminating unsecured drop boxes, and facilitate increased transparency in the auditing of the vote counting process.
